"Improve Your Paintings with Value and Color" Friday thru Sunday, June 21st-23rd, 9am to 4pm each day. $375. Limit 8 students. In this workshop we will tackle two elements of painting which I find students nearly always struggle with: value and color. Day one will focus on values through a number of different exercises in black, white and gray. On day two we will explore color, including, by popular demand, how to mix a variety of GREENS! On day three we will work on both value and color together. This is an indoor workshop.
"Capturing Light and Color En Plein Air" Friday thru Sunday, October 11th-13th, 9am to 4pm each day. $375. Limit 10 students. In this intensive 3 day workshop you will learn Debra's techniques for capturing beautiful light, atmosphere and color painting from life outdoors, en plein air! This is workshop is for students who have either previously attended one of my plein air workshops or have basic experience in plein air painting.
