Plan to pour yourself a glass of wine or your favorite beverage and sit back to enjoy a LPAPA “Art of Conversation” Plein Talk live-streamed event featuring LPAPA Signature Artist Debra Joy Groesser. Debra will be our special guest for a Virtual Mentor “Plein Talk” Session coming to you live Thursday February 25th at 5PM PT (6PM MT; 7PM CT, 8PM ET) from her Gallery in Ralston, Nebraska, as she shares her art marketing wisdom and advice on entering juried shows, with live Q&As, to help you excel at The Art of Getting Your Work Out There!

Advance registration is required to receive the live-streamed Zoom event access link as well as the post-event recording. The deadline to register for the live streamed event is 5 pm PT Wednesday February 24th; registrations made after 5pm on the 24th will receive access to the post-event recording, however, access to the live event can not be assured.

All registrants will receive a private link for exclusive access to the recording approximately 24-48 hours after the live event.

Members must Login when registering to receive member discount price (plus Members receive a $5 LPAPA Loyalty Reward credit!). Registration fees are not refundable unless an event is cancelled by LPAPA.

Laguna Plein Air Painters Association is hosting its 2nd Annual LPAPA Strong Painted Postcard Art Auction online February 8-14, 2021. The theme of this year’s fundraiser is LPAPA LOVE in honor of Valentine’s Day and is designed to raise funds in support LPAPA and its Artists. Auction participants have the opportunity to bid on the Artist that they wish to have paint, personalize and send a 5″ x 7″ LPAPA Strong & Positive Postcard original work of art.

The auction opens Monday February 8th at 10:00am PT and ends Sunday February 14th at 5:00pm PT. All artwork will have a starting auction price of $50.00 with minimum bid increments of $10.00.

Join us as we celebrate our 21st Annual National Juried Exhibition which will feature approximately 180 juried paintings from some of the top American Impressionist artists working today. In addition there will be approximately 20 paintings by our AIS Masters, founders, officers and board members. The exhibition will be held at Illume Gallery in St George, Utah, and Illume's two sister galleries, The Mission Gallery and Authentique Gallery. My painting, "Tea Time in the Garden", will be available in this exhibition. 

I'm excited to be accepted for the first time for the Cape Ann Plein Air event in historic Gloucester, Massachusetts. The event will be virtual this year so check the website, http://www.capeannpleinair.org/ for updated schedules of events.

This exhibition is now being held virtually online on the OPA website. The awards presentation will be held on August 13th, 6:30pm online. More details to come soon! My painting, First Bales of Spring (9x12 oil) is included in this exhibition. 

This mission of the Bone Creek Museum is to connect people to the land through art. The goal of this invitational exhibition is to show the exemplary nature of the skill and unique vision of twenty of the top artists in Nebraska, as a testament to the talented artists in the state. I'm thrilled to be included in this group of amazing artists! Each artist is creating a large scale piece specifically for this exhibition. Mine is "Rosie's Protector" 30x24 oil. It's a portrait of my four year old granddaughter holding her chicken, "Rosie." I loved the light on her and the way she was holding Rosie in such a protective way, which inspired me to paint this. 

At this time there will not be a formal opening reception however there may be a reception at a later point during the exhibition. Check back here or the museum's website for updates. 

I'm so pleased to be invited again to participate in the Door County Plein Air Festival again, the Midwest's premier outdoor painting event. Due to the COVID-19 situation this year's festival will be virtual! We won't be doing the "in person" festival but you will still be able to purchase fresh new artwork from all the festival artists in this online event.  40 contemporary plein air masters from around the U.S. are participating this year.
